Barrett’s first start at quarterback since November 2014 sparked Ohio State’s return to the Football Four Playoff Projection’s top seed line for the first time since Sept. 29. The Buckeyes jumped from the 3 seed to No. 1 this week in the vote of the projection’s 13-person panel. Ohio State’s 38 voting points this week are the most of any team since the Buckeyes had 39 in that Sept. 29 vote. Ohio State is coming off a 49-7 win at Rutgers in which Barrett accounted for 324 yards and five touchdowns. “Quite frankly, they finally look like Playoff team,” said panelist Eddie Timanus of USA TODAY Sports. …
