NCAA Football Rankings: New AP Top 25 And Coaches Polls Released — SEC Gaining Strength …

The latest NCAA rankings are out with the release of both the Coaches Poll and Associated Press Top 25 Poll. The SEC is gaining strength in big ways, with teams moving up and others joining the rankings, but the Ohio State Buckeyes are still undefeated and still at No. 1. Some teams are beginning to separate themselves, but there’s a bit of a cluster up top that could make the playoff run an interesting one. With the playoff committee preparing for the first playoff rankings of the season, it is looking like the top four are firmly in place. Well, at least for now as Ohio State, Baylor, Clemson, and LSU occupy the top four spots in the AP Poll for this week. Barrett, as reported by the Associated Press. It’s looking more and more like the Buckeyes are going to have to lose in order to fall at all in the polls. Barrett was suspended one game after being arrested early on Saturday morning on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated near the Ohio State campus.
