This from CBJ: The university’s athletics council has made pricing recommendations for the 2016 season, including a permanent move to the variable model introduced in 2013, and trustees will consider the proposals this week. “Given the success of these pricing strategies, and based on positive feedback from fans regarding the variable pricing of games for the 2015 football season, the athletic council and university administrators recommend moving permanently to a variable-ticket-pricing model by game for football tickets,” the trustees agenda reads. The variable price ticket model was started in 2013, with the trustees considering making the model permanent. A season ticket in 2016 is set to cost $614, while this season’s Buckeyes-Wolverines game in Ann Arbor are selling for no less than $196 online. [embedded content]
