Having jumped from No. 7 to No. 3 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 rankings, the Alabama Crimson Tide will be looking to keep their momentum this week as one of the notable road favorites on the opening college football Week 11 betting lines at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark. The Crimson Tide proved the oddsmakers right over the weekend, thumping the LSU Tigers 30-16 and covering the 7.5-point spread at the sportsbooks against a school that was above them in the rankings. The Tigers dropped from No. 4 to No. 9 in the AP Top 25 with the loss. Alabama is now 8-1 straight up and 4-5 against the spread on the season, with its blemish coming back on September 19 when it fell 43-37 to Ole Miss as a nine-point favorite. Since that defeat, the Crimson Tide have gone 6-0 SU while covering the spread three times. For this week, Alabama opened as a seven-point road favorite against Mississippi State, a school it’s beaten seven times in a row straight up dating back to 2008.
