The Buckeyes do lose some key players after this season, but with the No. 2 ranked recruiting class in 2016, the staff will once again be reloading the roster with talent. Key losses: OL Taylor Decker, OL Jacoby Boren, OL Chase Farris, TE Nick Vannett, WR Braxton Miller, RB Ezekiel Elliott, DL Joey Bosa, DL Tommy Schutt, DL Joel Hale, LB Joshua Perry Instant-impact freshman: Ohio State likes to play prospects early in their careers, so this list could be a long one if all goes as planned. With losses along the defensive line, defensive end Nick Bosa could see early playing time the way his brother, Joey, did as a freshman. Running back Demario McCall could also see the field as he has the potential to be used all over the field, especially as an h-back. Receiver Austin Mack could make an impact in the offense as well as another outside threat for coach Urban Meyer. Top 2016 recruits: ESPN 300 defensive end Nick Bosa leads the class as the No. 3-ranked prospect overall, followed by fellow lineman Jonathon Cooper.
