Ohio State now No. 1 with three new 4-star commits, two Maryland flips

Monday was a great recruiting day for Urban Meyer and Ohio State. (USATSI) Ohio State had a big recruiting Monday as two of Maryland’s top verbal pledges flipped to the Buckeyes. Four-star quarterback Dwayne Haskins (Potomac, Md.) and four-star outside linebacker Keandre Jones (Olney, Md.) both changed their commitments from the Terps to the Buckeyes within an hour of each other on Monday. Haskins, the top recruit from the state of Maryland, is rated as the third best pro-style quarterback in the country, according to 247Sports. He made his change of commitment public on Monday, though he had already let the Buckeyes know he would be coming to Columbus back in December when he took a visit, according to 247Sports.
