Ohio State Basketball Shows It’s Youth In Loss To Michigan State

The Ohio State basketball team is coming down the home stretch of the regular season, and the Factory of Sadness Voice of the Fan arguesthe squad might be better off playing in the NIT, rather than the NCAA tournament later this month. An important match with Michigan State, and a way to score some points with the NCAA to get into the tournament. But once again Ohio State shows its youth, lack of leadership, and most of all a big lack of offensive talent on this young team. Did I mention a lack of defense too? Ohio State’s weak-side defense is atrocious! Players in a man defense can’t lose sight of the players they’re guarding. Too often these players are all watching the player with the ball. The lack of plays on offense is astounding. To often they stand still and make a last second one-on one move that usually doesn’t work. They have big men inside, yet they are of little use when it comes to scoring. Junior forward Marc Loving, is the most senior member on the team that gets loads of playing time, and has a good game from time-to-time but not often enough. He makes as many bad plays as he does good ones! His game is too inconsistent to be the leader needed on this team. …
