Ohio State’s Ohio Stadium is a popular venue, specifically for football games and graduations. Now over the course of the next four years, in addition to those events, a multi-million dollar renovation will also be seen. The Ohio State University decided to renovate Ohio State aka “The Horseshoe” for $42 million. The renovation will take place from 2017 till 2020. Ohio State’s Ohio Stadium’s current capacity is 104,944. Unfortunately, when everything is done, that capacity will decrease to 102,854. More from Factory of Sadness The seat decrease is frustrating. On the other hand, even if Ohio State had kept the same amount of seats or increased them, it is unlikely that would have changed how often people went to games. Also, upon completion, Ohio State will continue to have the third-largest stadium in college football.
