The Factory of Sadness Voice of the Fan asks this question in wake of an early NBA draft entree, and two transfers coming within 24 hours of each other. Two days and two Buckeye centers are leaving the program! Center Trevor Thompson declared way-to-early for the NBA draft. Then, freshman center (citing family problems) Daniel Giddens asked for his release from the program. And now, Mickey Mitchell wants out. This issue with players leaving and transferring don’t show well for the team or the university. Charley Lockhart, of Scarlet and Game, made an excellent point when he noted  the 2015-2016 squad never seemed to gel or come together. To these eyes, it appeared some of the kids didn’t even want to be on the floor. Mitchell and Gidden’s departures mark the third transfer from this class as Austin Grandstaff transferred last December. One has to wonder if it’s the coach? …
