Ohio State doesn’t become first school with three top-10 picks

Getty ImagesThe good news for Ohio State is that three former Buckeyes have made it to the top 10 of the draft. The good news for the rest of the Big 10 is that these guys are all gone. Joining Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa (No. 3) and Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot (No. 4) is cornerback Eli Apple, who went to the Giants at No. 10. According to ESPN’s Chris Berman, it’s the first time any school has placed a trio of players in the first 10 selections, an amazing development considering the number of dominant college football programs over the years. More Buckeyes could be coming in round one and beyond. For now, the folks in Columbus can take pride in the fact that their school has accomplished something no one else has. UPDATE 9:43 p.m. …
