Ohio State football players in the draft, Day 3

The Buckeyes got a good start to their third day at the NFL Draft, when linebacker Joshua Perry was selected by the San Diego Chargers, where he will join Joey Bosa on the Chargers defense. The Cleveland Browns opened the third day by selecting Wisconsin linebacker Joe Schobert. The Buffalo Bills ended the wait for quarterback Cardale Jones, who went to the Bills with the 139th pick. Jones was the 12th Ohio State player drafted. Tyvis Powell agreed to a free agent deal with the Houston Texans and Jalin Marshall agreed to join the New York Jets.
