AUBURN, Ala. – Not so long ago, cornerback Jamel Dean thought he may never play football again. A four-star prospect from perennial power Cocoa (Fla.) High, Dean enrolled early at Ohio State as part of the Buckeyes’ 2015 signing class. But three months later, Dean was ruled medically ineligible by Ohio State doctors because of two knee injuries he suffered in high school.
