Lind added on his Twitter account that the uni is part of the Nike Vapor untouchable series. The photo of the uniform began circulating when a recruit’s father snapped a picture during a trip to Columbus over the weekend. If you’re wondering about the significance of the design, BuckNuts — which first shared the image — has an explanation: The potential alternate uniform for the Buckeyes appears to be a throwback that looks based very much on the jersey the team wore in the Chic Harley Era, with vertical gray stripes on a red top. The timing would make a lot of sense too, as this year marks the 100th anniversary of Ohio State’s first conference title in 1916.
