NY Times: Concussions caused Karageorge's suicide

Kosta Karageorge died of a self-inflicted gun shot in November of 2014. The Ohio State walk-on football player and wrestler was an inspiration to many of his teammates, such as fellow defensive tackle Michael Bennett, who changed from No. 63 to No. 53 to honor Karageorge during the Buckeyes’ postseason run in 2014. Many had speculated that Karageorge was suffering from the effects of several concussions, from both his football and wrestling careers. (Mostly from wrestling as Karageorge played just the one season of collegiate football in ’14.) The New York Times published a very interesting piece on Karageorge that leaves no doubt concussions were the root of the affable young man’s problems. What’s next for the Buckeyes?
