Las Vegas Casino: Ohio State 6.5-Point Underdogs at Oklahoma, 5-Point Favorites Against Michigan

Urban Meyer is 6-0 as an underdog at Ohio State, which means Bob Stoops and the Oklahoma Sooners received bad news Monday morning. While nobody expects the young 2016 Buckeyes to be favored when they roll into Norman on Sept. 17, one Vegas casino says the Sooners will be by less than a touchdown. Las Vegas’ South Point casino released a flurry of 2016 odds Monday, and it says Ohio State will be 6.5-point underdogs entering its first road game of the season, which sounds like a sensible enough line to entice betting on both sides. Oklahoma was favored by as many as nine points early last month. (Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, and Oklahoma are betting favorites to win the 2016 title.) Perhaps more notably, however, South Point lists Ohio State as 5-point favorites against Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines on Nov. 26. (While Ohio State defeated Michigan in 13 of the last 15 contests, the Wolverines continue to receive preseason hype as a playoff contender.) These lines are liable to fluctuate between now and kickoff, but if they sound too good to pass up, you and your cash need to find your way to 9777 S. Las Vegas Blvd in Las Vegas, Nevada.
