Ohio State RB Bri'onte Dunn dismissed for violating team rules

Ohio State running back Bri’onte Dunn has been dismissed from the football team for a violation of team rules, the university announced Monday night.  Details surrounding his dismissal have not been released.  MORE: Top 16 programs since 2000 Dunn, a senior, was expected to compete for carries as a starter with the departure of Ezekiel Elliott to the NFL. In three seasons, Dunn had just 287 yards in limited action, but he averaged 6.0 yards per carry.  MORE: Barrett wants teammates to stop it with Pokemon Go  Dunn’s departure opens the door for redshirt freshman Michael Weber, who scored two touchdowns in the Buckeyes’ 2016 spring game. Curtis Samuel, Dontre Wilson and Antonio Williams also will be in the mix for carries.
