Media poll picks Ohio State as Big Ten champs


Ohio State, despite losing 16 starters from last season, is the choice to win the Big Ten Conference according to a poll of 39 media members who cover the conference. It’s the second consecutive year the media voters have picked the Buckeyes. Ohio State received 25 votes to win the Big Ten East Division title and 27 picked the Buckeyes to win the Big Ten championship game (two voters selected Ohio State as co-champs in the East Division). Michigan received eight votes to win the Big Ten East outright and 11 votes to win the Big Ten title. Michigan State did not receive any Big Ten championship votes.
