New Ohio State RB Mike Weber has 'a hell of a standard' to live up to

COLUMBUS, Ohio — It’s OK to believe Ohio State running back Mike Weber when he says he was “satisfied” with a redshirt freshman year in which he had no rushing attempts.  Weber admits he needed time behind Ezekiel Elliott, who rushed for 1,821 yards and 23 TDs in 2015 before the Dallas Cowboys selected him with the No. 4 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Elliott and Carlos Hyde have averaged 1,740 yards and close to 19 TDs as the Buckeyes’ feature back the last three seasons.  “It’s a hell of a standard to be up there, and I’m working my hardest so I can satisfy Buckeye Nation and my family,” Weber said at Ohio State’s Media Day at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on Sunday.  MORE: Ranking Big Ten coaches | Ohio State favorite in Big Ten East Include Ohio State coach Urban Meyer and quarterback J.T.
