Ohio State Buckeye football, 2016 game by game season preview

They return a junior All American quarterback in JT Barrett, which is always a good thing. Not so good is they only return five other starters from last year’s 12-1 team. However, the talent they are working with this year is the result of recruiting classes that ranked second, third, seventh and fourth since 2013. So in regards to talent, this team is loaded. Coaching them up as they gain needed experience is one of the top masters of the game. Here is a look at the 2016 regular season schedule: Sept. 3 – Bowling Green – In 2015, Dino Babers coached the Falcons to a 10-4 record. They averaged 547 yards and 42 points per game. Though Babers and all world quarterback, Matt Johnson have moved on, this team is a definite MAC championship contender. I did say MAC though. Prediction: Ohio State 49-21 Sept. 10 – Tulsa – The Golden Hurricane went 6-7 in 2015. They return 14 starters but still have a ways to go before being big boy ready. They may make another bowl but they can’t beat the Buckeyes. Prediction: Ohio State 48-24 Sept. 17 – at Oklahoma – The Sooners played a difficult schedule and made the playoff at 11-1…
