Penn State knocks off No. 2 Ohio State 24-21

Penn State blocked a field goal late in the fourth quarter, and Grant Haley picked it up and took it the distance to lift the Nittany Lions to a 24-21 victory at home against Ohio State on Saturday in State College, Pa. The Lions scored 17 fourth-quarter points to rally from 21-7 down. The Buckeyes’ road winning streak under Urban Meyer ended at 20. It’s a signature win for Penn State coach James Franklin on a white-out night in Happy Valley. It’s the first time an unranked Penn State team has defeated a top-two team since 1964.
