The Ohio State Buckeyes jumped into the top four of the College Football Playoff Top 25 rankings this week, and to stay there for another week they only have to beat one of the most disappointing teams in the country this year, the Michigan State Spartans. On Saturday, the No. 2 Buckeyes visit the Spartans, who are coming off a shutout victory against Rutgers that snapped a seven-game losing streak. It was less than a year ago that Michigan State was in the College Football Playoff. Now, the Spartans won’t even finish the season at .500. The Big Ten East race is crowded at the top, with Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State tied at 6-1.
