Ohio State football: Pat Elflein, Cameron Johnston named finalists for national awards

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State center Pat Elflein is one of the best offensive linemen in college football. We knew that would be the case as soon as he decided to come back for a fifth season. Now Elflein could make it official with some hardware. On Monday night, Elflein was named one of three finalists for the Outland Trophy, given to the nation’s best interior lineman. The other finalists are Alabama offensive tackle Cam Robinson and Washington State guard Cody O’Connell.
