Ohio State Football: Backup Quarterback Dwayne Haskins Impressing In Bowl Practice

Being the third string quarterback at Ohio State proved to be a blessing in disguise for Cardale Jones this time two years ago. While a similar situation does not appear to be likely, the Buckeyes current third string signal caller is still making strides.  When asked which players had impressed him in bowl practice, linebacker Jerome Baker did not hesitate to bring up Dwayne Haskins Jr., who has yet to see the field in his first season at Ohio State.  “Dwayne has been slinging it lately,” Baker said of Haskins, who has been playing the part of Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson in practice. “Dwayne is definitely getting better.
