The news does not come as a surprise, as the surprises now come from players announcing that they are returning. Samuel led the Buckeyes with 74 receptions, 865 yards receiving, and seven touchdowns in 2016. The 74 receptions were the second-most in school history behind David Boston’s 85 in 1998. Samuel also finished third on the team with 97 rushing attempts for 771 yards and eight touchdowns. Samuel was named a First-Team All-American for his efforts as a true junior this past season.
