How Kevin Wilson helps Ohio State Football


This season was successful for Ohio State Football in that they made it to the College Football Playoff. Nonetheless, it’s been well-documented that this team was not up to par offensively. The Buckeyes did not have horrible offensive numbers, ranking second in the Big Ten Conference in points per game, but it was the lack of explosive plays in the passing game that made them inconsistent. Quarterback J.T. Barrett was not given great protection, and the lack of creativity in offensive game plans really hurt the Bucks. That’s why I’m optimistic bringing in former Indiana Hoosiers head coach Kevin Wilson to call the plays is going to make Ohio State more explosive and multi-dimensional. Wilson has had a knack for putting points on the board with a variety of offensive game plans throughout his 25-year coaching career.
