The college football season has come to a close. As part of our year-end review of Ohio State’s 2016 season, we will be counting down the 20 most important contributors to the Buckeyes this year. We will release one per day until we reach the top spot. Pat Elflein It could certainly be argued that Pat Elflein deserves to be higher on this list. We just ask that you wait to see the rest of the top 20 before making that argument. Elflein could have spent 2016 in the NFL making money for playing football. Instead, the Pickerington, OH native, who graduated last May, decided to return to Ohio State. He did so for a number of reasons. First, Elflein loves the Buckeyes.
