National Signing Day 2017: Ohio State compiles No. 2 recruiting class

Coming off a disappointing college football playoff performance in which Clemson shut out the Buckeyes, and an offseason that saw a handful of the program’s top talents bolt for the draft, Urban Meyer needed a strong recruiting class to continue the sustained success he has had during his tenure in Columbus. To no surprise, Meyer was able to haul in the second-best stable of commits in the country, featuring five five-star players and 14 four-star players. Ohio State still has a bevy of talent remaining on its roster, such as quarterback J.T. Barrett, running back Mike Weber, defensive end Cam Hubbard and a handful of offensive linemen.
