Highly touted basketball prospect to Ohio State football recruit, Jaylen Harris closes chapter

EUCLID, Ohio – Jaylen Harris entered high school thought to be one of Ohio’s top basketball players in his class. He will instead leave with that distinction as a football player. Harris, who committed in January to play for Ohio State, concluded his high school career Wednesday in a 71-70 loss to Solon during the Division I Euclid District boys basketball semifinals. From this point forward, he will be catching passes as a wide receiver for Urban Meyer.
