Buckeyes' Barrett takes good with bad

COLUMBUS — No one in Ohio State history has scored more touchdowns than J.T. Barrett. After the start of spring football, Barrett also has the distinction of being the only three-time captain in the history of the Buckeyes. A three-year starter, Ohio State has made the playoff twice with Barrett under center. Yet Barrett remains polarizing among Ohio State fans, some of whom wanted Barrett to declare for the NFL draft and let him know as much after he chose to return to OSU for his redshirt senior season. Thrust into the starting role as a freshman, Barrett has been the mainstay through waves of personnel turnover around him. It seems as if he has been around for a while.
