When J.T. Barrett said he would return to Ohio State for his final year, it didn’t sit well with some Buckeyes fans. However, one former Ohio State player has Barrett’s back. ESPN college football analyst, and former Buckeyes quarterback, Kirk Herbstreit came to Barrett’s defense on Twitter on Wednesday after ESPN’s Big Ten blog ran an article questioning whether or not Barrett should be cemented as Ohio State’s starting signal caller.
