A year ago at this time Malik Hooker had never started a game for the Buckeyes, but everybody I talked to around the program had a not-so-quiet confidence that he was going to be able to step in just fine. Nine months later and Ohio State was already saying goodbye to him, as he emerged as one of the nation’s very best players, and now looks to be a Top 10 NFL Draft pick.
