Campaigning for job does Worley a lot of good

COLUMBUS — Linebacker Chris Worley has been on the campaign trail during his time at Ohio State. Speaking to his constituency of one — former linebackers coach Luke Fickell — Worley ran on the campaign slogan ‘Put me in that box.’ In other words, Worley wanted to play middle linebacker. With stalwart Raekwon McMillan gone to the National Football League, the Buckeyes finally granted Worley’s wish. The upcoming senior from Cleveland moved from outside linebacker to the middle for a spring trial period, and if it goes well, he’ll stay at his desired position. “He’s very vocal, everybody follows him, [and] he knows what he’s doing, so he’s a great quarterback in there for us,” Buckeyes linebackers coach Bill Davis said of Worley.
