Ohio State looks to be 'significantly improved' in return game

COLUMBUS – Once upon a time Ohio State possessed a dangerous return game. Ted Ginn Jr., David Boston, Nate Clements and Chris Gamble are just a few names that litter the Buckeye record books. Yet in recent years, the punt and kick return production has dried up. It’s been two seasons since OSU returned a punt for a touchdown and you have to go back to 2010 to find the last kick return that went to the house. Last year, the Scarlet and Gray averaged just 5.15 yards per punt return and 24.36 yards on kick returns.
