COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State women’s basketball is hoping to close its 2017-18 season with a Final Four berth in Columbus. So the Buckeyes might as well start it with a bang. They’ll host a pair of Final Four contenders from last year to open the season, the team announced on Monday. Ohio State will host Stanford on Friday, Nov. 10 in the season opener at St. John Arena. Then two days later the Buckeyes will host Connecticut at Nationwide Arena as part of Countdown to Columbus event. Stanford will also play Louisville as part of that event. Stanford and UConn reached the Final Four last year, with both failing to make the national championship. Ohio State and Louisville saw their seasons end in the Sweet 16 last year.
