In somewhat of a shocker, Ohio State junior guard Kam Williams has declared for the 2017 NBA Draft.Ohio State junior guard Kam Williams might not be returning to the Buckeyes for his senior year. According to the NBA’s official list of early entrants for the 2017 NBA Draft, Williams was among the Ohio State players named, along with Buckeyes junior Trevor Thompson. While Thompson’s decision has been public for quite some time—he also tested the NBA waters after last season—Williams’ decision comes as quite a surprise, especially for a player that didn’t start for the first half of the season. Neither player, however, is expected to be drafted this season. It’s unclear if Williams has hired an agent, as of now. If he has, there’s no turning back and he must turn pro.
