In what was Ohio State’s highest ranked recruiting class ever under head coach Urban Meyer, the 2017 class — ranking second only behind Alabama — has the potential to become the most productive freshman class at Ohio State. Five five-star recruits — three of which have already enrolled at Ohio State in the spring — make up the backbone of the Buckeyes’ loaded incoming class, with thirteen more four star recruits rounding out the edges. The most telling statistic, however, is that eleven of the Buckeyes’ 20 commitments rank in the top 100 in the nation, this according to 247sports.
