Ohio State basketball: Holtmann reunited with strength coach

Adam Jardy The Columbus Dispatch @AdamJardy Ohio State has hired Quadrian Banks away from the Indianapolis Colts to be its men’s basketball strength and conditioning coach. The move, announced Friday afternoon, reunites Banks with new Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann. From 2011-13, Banks was the director of athletic performance at Gardner-Webb, where Holtmann was the coach. A Texas alumnus, Banks left Gardner-Webb in March 2013 for his first NFL job as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. Banks joined the Colts in 2016 as the team’s conditioning/performance analyst. “I am very excited about the addition of Quadrian,” Holtmann said in a statement. “He is an elite strength coach and has extensive experience working with athletes at the highest level.
