Urban Meyer takes down ranked teams This is probably not news to Ohio State fans, given the regularity with which Urban Meyer has taken down ranked foes during his time in Columbus. Still, it never hurts to have concrete numbers on your side. Football Scoop published a list of the coaches with the best and worst winning percentages against ranked teams, and Meyer came out top on the favorable list. In his career Meyer is 35-14 against ranked teams, a winning percentage of 71.4 percent. He’s been even better with the Buckeyes, going 15-4 (78.9 percent) the last five seasons.
