Vegas: Ohio State title odds take a small slip

After the Oklahoma Sooners rolled out of Columbus, Ohio with a win against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday night, Vegas took notice. Lincoln Riley’s OU squad moved up a tad in the recent batch of odds, while Urban Meyer’s Buckeyes took a small slip, according to the sports book Bovada. The odds were shuffling around on Monday afternoon, as OSU went from 8/1 odds, to 9/1. Entering the contest with Oklahoma, the Scarlet & Gray held 6/1 odds of being the kings of college football again. Oklahoma entered the Ohio State contest with 14/1 odds of winning the whole shebang, and with the 31-16 win, improved their odds to 8/1 early Monday. However, the money was moving toward the Sooners, as those odds closed in—and improved— to 7/1 by the late afternoon.
