LINCOLN, Neb. — A five-game slog that took the Ohio State Buckeyes from one end of the Big Ten to the other – from Piscataway, N.J. to Lincoln, Neb. – is over, and now Ohio State heads home for the game that everyone has been waiting for. Penn State is coming on Oct. 28. How ready are the Buckeyes? Tim Bielik, Bill Landis and I got right to that question on the field at Memorial Stadium on Saturday after Ohio State’s 56-14 win over the Cornhuskers. That followed wins over Army, UNLV, Rutgers and Maryland that put the Buckeyes back on track after their home loss to Oklahoma. Ohio State is ranked No. 9 and should move up to No. 7 this week.
