College football rankings: Will OU be ahead of Ohio State?

Just like a horror flick, we get scared at things we know are not real. And so it will be Tuesday night, when ESPN announces the CFP committee’s first rankings, with Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt, the committee chairman, explaining the decisions. We’ll get all worked up, knowing that everything is likely to play itself out by December, but only after consternations about who is ranked where and why. The primary debate of the initial rankings could settle on the Oklahoma-Ohio State issue.
