Ohio State football | Hybrid back Parris Campbell to miss Iowa game

By Brian Hofmann The Columbus Dispatch Ohio State’s No. 1 hybrid back and primary kickoff returner Parris Campbell, who had to leave last week’s game with Penn State early, did not make the trip Friday to Iowa, a team spokesman confirmed after the team landed. The Buckeyes, No. 6 in the College Football Playoff rankings and No. 3 in both major polls, take on the Hawkeyes at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Kinnick Stadium. Campbell, who suffered a head injury early in the win at Nebraska three weeks ago and had to leave that game, was believed to have incurred the same malady on the third play from scrimmage against the Nittany Lions. Coach Urban Meyer never confirmed this week that Campbell was in concussion protocol — in which a player must pass a series of cognitive tests to be cleared to play — but he did say Campbell was questionable…
