Ohio State Wide Receiver Johnnie Dixon Returning For Another Year

Ohio State wide receiver Johnnie Dixon will return for his fifth and final season of eligibility, Dixon announced Thursday on Twitter. Dixon III (@YoungKing_JD5) January 12, 2018 A fourth-year junior, Dixon is coming off the best season of his Ohio State career in 2017, when he caught 18 passes for 422 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns. Dixon battled knee injuries in each of his first three years at Ohio State, however, and caught only seven passes for 55 yards between 2015 and 2016 as a result. With that lack of career production, Dixon was a long shot to be selected in the draft, but another productive year as a Buckeye could improve his chances.
