Ohio State basketball No. 14 in NCAA Tournament top 16, projected four-seed

COLUMBUS, Ohio — If the NCAA Tournament started today, Ohio State would be a No. 4 seed in the East Region. The NCAA Tournament selection committee revealed its current top 16 teams on Sunday, one month out from when the final bracket for this year’s tournament will be revealed. The top 16 make up the teams that would be seeded No. 1 through No. 4 in each of the tournament’s four regions. The Buckeyes were No. 14 overall, the second-best No. 4 seed. The selection committee started this practice last year, trying to copy some interest that the College Football Playoff selection committee creates with weekly rankings reveals after the eighth week of the season.
