4-star QB Dwan Mathis de-commits from Michigan State, commits to Ohio State

On Sept. 23, 2017, Class of 2019 4-star quarterback Dwan Mathis committed to Michigan State over schools such as Ohio State, Iowa State and Oregon, among others. However, nine months after his commitment to the Spartans, Mathis has had a change of heart. Mathis announced on Sunday evening that he has not only de-committed from Michigan State, but also has committed to Ohio State. With Mathis flipping from the Spartans to the Buckeyes, Ohio State has found its 2019 quarterback. Mathis — a 6-foot-5, 195-pound pro-style quarterback from Oak Park (Mich.) High School — broke the news on Twitter.
