Ohio State officially opened fall practice, but things are far from normal in Columbus. Urban Meyer remains on paid administrative leave, with an investigation circling to find out just how much the Buckeyes head coach was aware of the alleged behavior of a former assistant. Ryan Day is the Buckeyes’ interim coach in Meyer’s absence, although you shouldn’t expect to hear from him anytime soon. Ohio State had a scheduled media availability after Thursday’s practice, but canceled that, and everything else until this is resolved.
