Ohio State football: Buckeyes want even more from high-octane offense

Through two games, the Ohio State offense ranks No. 2 in the nation in scoring at 64.5 points per game. The fourth-ranked Buckeyes are also No. 2 in total offense (650 yards per game). They lead the Big Ten with 15 explosive plays (20 yards or more) from scrimmage, and are No. 1 in the nation in third-down conversion percentage (an absurd 72.1). Ohio State’s 1,300 total yards, 700 passing yards and nine touchdown passes are the most in school history through two games.
