At Big 12 Media Days, he started on a brief tangent about wanting to compete against the top coaches in the game, including Urban Meyer, before getting back to a “it’s about the players” cliche. An old exchange between Gary Patterson and a recruit, revealed on Twitter, also made clear that TCU craves games like this.
