Ohio State Stays At No. 4 in Coaches Poll After 49-6 Win Over Tulane

Ohio State had little trouble with Tulane Saturday afternoon as the Buckeyes earned their ninth straight win by a 49-6 final. The top four remained the same with Alabama at No. 1, Clemson at No. 2, Georgia at No. 3 and the Buckeyes at No. 4. Ohio State now travels to Happy Valley this Saturday to take on Penn State, which moved to No. 9 after a 63-24 win over Illinois on Friday. Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Wisconsin, Michigan and Michigan State all jumped in a positive direction. The Badgers, who earned a gritty win at Iowa, jumped three spots to No. 13 while Michigan, which dismantled Nebraska, jumped six spots to No. 15. Michigan State is now No. 18, a five-spot jump, after a 35-21 win over Indiana. The biggest jumper in the poll was Tom Herman’s Texas Longhorns, who beat TCU by a 31-16 final.
