Hours after the Wolverines dumped rival Michigan State, 21-7, its other Big Ten rival, Ohio State, went on the road and was dominated by Purdue, 49-20. The Buckeyes’ loss means the Wolverines are the lone team undefeated in Big Ten Conference play, and puts them atop the Big Ten East division. Under coach Jim Harbaugh, Michigan hasn’t finished higher than third in the division. No. 6 Michigan should also jump No. 2 Ohio State in the polls after Saturday’s results.
